The Porsche Macan Turbo 95B.1 exhaust in detail.
The Macan Turbo 95B.1 opens the Macan’s twin-turbo V6 series with the biggest engine: 3.6 litres, 400 hp and 550 Nm, for the 2014 to 2017 model years. Its 3.6-litre rumbles lower than the range’s other V6s, but the factory exhaust only lets a murmur through. With the valves open, the Rog cat-back gives it back a hoarse, full note with every acceleration; with the valves closed, the compact SUV regains its discretion for town and long stages.
This page is specific to the Turbo 3.6. The GTS 3.0 of the same phase and the Macan Turbo 95B.2 with the 2.9-litre V6 each have their own; your VIN lets us check compatibility before manufacturing.
The Turbo 3.6 can also take the catalysed downpipe offered under the “Manifold” option. For power, it only counts when combined with an ECU remap: our page then lists 473 hp and 683 Nm in Stage 2. Without a map, it changes the voice and lightens the whole a little; in 200-cell form, emissions control remains as it was from the factory.
No welding is needed under the Macan Turbo: clamps, gaskets and about two hours on a lift. The factory valve control, driven by the modes, is retained; without factory valves, the Rog remote takes care of it. Between titanium and 304 stainless steel, the former saves around 40% for the same design and comes in brushed, gold or purple, the latter keeps a rounder sound; the tips follow in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium.

Questions about the Porsche Macan Turbo 95B.1 3.6 V6 biturbo exhaust.
My Macan Turbo is a 2020 95B.2: is this the right page?
No: this one targets the 95B.1 Turbo with the 3.6-litre V6, from 2014 to 2017. The facelifted Turbo, with the 2.9-litre V6, is covered on a separate page. Your VIN lets us confirm the right phase before manufacturing.
Macan Turbo 3.6 remapped with a downpipe: what are the figures?
At Stage 2, our data puts this 3.6-litre at 473 hp and 683 Nm, i.e. 133 Nm more than stock. Without a downpipe or map, the cat-back only acts on voice and mass.
Does the Macan Turbo 95B.1’s original exhaust need refitting for the vehicle inspection?
Not necessarily: with the valves closed, it regains the discretion of a standard compact SUV. The factory or 200-cell downpipe keeps emissions control; with the 100-cell, acceptance will depend on the vehicle and your country’s rules, and the decat version is reserved for track use.
Does titanium make sense on an SUV like the Macan Turbo?
It takes around 40% of the weight out for the same design and gives a more metallic note at high revs. On a Macan driven all year round, 304 stainless steel, full-sounding and robust against salt, remains an excellent choice.
Porsche Macan Turbo 95B.1 3.6 V6 biturbo: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Porsche Macan Turbo 95B.1 3.6 V6 biturbo: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
