    PorscheMacan 95B

The Porsche Macan S 95B.2 exhaust in detail.

The facelifted Macan S, phase 95B.2, gets a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 rated at 354 hp and 480 Nm, for the 2019 to 2021 model years. We clearly distinguish it from the GTS and Turbo of the same phase, which move to the 2.9-litre twin-turbo and have their own page; your VIN lets us check your version before manufacturing.

Gruff and eager, higher-pitched than a V8, this V6’s voice tightens under acceleration. Yet the factory system reduces it to a neutral breath that matches neither the S badge nor the car’s temperament. With the valves open, the Rog cat-back restores a gruff grain with every burst of acceleration and richer climbs through the revs; with them closed, the Macan S becomes discreet and comfortable again for the big family getaways.

On this turbo V6, the page replaces the catalysed downpipe that follows the turbine under the “Manifold” option. With an ECU remap, our page publishes 420 hp and 630 Nm at Stage 2 for the Macan S; without a map, the part brings sound, not horsepower, and its 200-cell version leaves emissions control in place.

In the workshop, the Macan S needs no welding or cutting: clamps and gaskets, about two hours on a lift. Its factory valves, if it has them, stay controlled by the drive modes, otherwise the Rog remote operates them. Titanium saves around 40% for the same design and comes in brushed, gold or purple; as for the round tailpipes, they come in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium.

Questions about the Porsche Macan S 95B.2 3.0 V6 turbo exhaust.

    Macan S 95B.2 or Macan S 95B.3: which page should I choose?

Go by the engine: 3.0-litre turbo and 354 hp for the 2019 to 2021 95B.2, 2.9-litre twin-turbo EA839 and 380 hp for the 2022 95B.3, which has a different page. The VIN confirms your phase before manufacturing.

What can a Macan S 95B.2 aim for with a downpipe and an ECU remap?

According to our page, the Macan S’s V6 reaches 420 hp and 630 Nm at Stage 2, 150 Nm more than stock. The map also recalibrates the post-catalytic converter sensor; without a downpipe, the cat-back does without any ECU remap.

My fitted Macan S 95B.2 is going for its vehicle inspection: what should I check?

That the valves are closed, for a sound close to standard, and that the downpipe is factory or 200-cell, for retained emissions control. If the downpipe is 100-cell, its acceptance varies depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules; without a catalytic converter, the Macan S is reserved for track use.

On a long drive south, does the equipped Macan S tire the passengers?

Not with the valves closed: the gases pass through the silencer chambers, designed for cruising, and the V6 fades into the background at a constant speed. Its voice returns as soon as you open them again.

Porsche Macan S 95B.2 3.0 V6 turbo: Does a valved exhaust system drone?

No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.

Porsche Macan S 95B.2 3.0 V6 turbo: straight pipe or resonator?

On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
