The BMW X7 M50i G07 exhaust in detail.
The largest SUV in the BMW range, the X7 offers three rows of seats and limousine refinement. In M50i form, from 2019 to 2022, it hides an N63, a 4.4-litre V8 with its turbos placed inside the V: 530 hp and 750 Nm sent to all four wheels, accelerating it with the smoothness and strength of a large saloon. For the facelifted mild-hybrid version, the X7 M60i, a separate page exists.
In an SUV designed for the silence of its occupants, the factory exhaust’s job is to make you forget the V8, and it does it too well: combined with the cabin’s careful insulation, it reduces a deep, velvety tone to a murmur. With the valves open, our cat-back gives the X7 a deep rumble at start-up and a broad climb; closed, they preserve the atmosphere of a lounge on wheels for journeys with six or seven on board.
Under this large SUV, no welding: an exhaust bent to match your VIN, connected with clamps and gaskets in about two hours, with the factory valve control retained or the Rog remote.
The “Manifold” option sells the front section that follows the N63’s turbos; on its own, it only changes the voice and the mass, and on a vehicle of this standing, the ECU remap that turns it into power deserves a meticulous tuner. This large family SUV keeps its emissions control with the 200-cell front section, while the 100-cell is accepted or not depending on the car and the rules in your country and the decat version is reserved for track use. 304 stainless steel extends the V8’s velvety tone, while titanium is around 40% lighter.

Questions about the BMW X7 M50i G07 4.4TT exhaust.
My X7 M50i was registered in 2023: does the system suit it?
Our technical data runs up to 2023, but the page lists 2019 to 2022; send us your X7’s VIN and we check compatibility before building.
Does an X7 M50i’s N63 V8 take a Stage 2?
The page lists 700 hp and 980 Nm in Stage 2, with the front section and map entrusted to a meticulous tuner; without them, the cat-back works with the factory engine management.
BMW X7 M50i N63 4.4TT with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
With the cat-back only or the 200-cell sports catalytic converter, emissions control is retained: present the car with the valves closed. The 100-cell brings more sound and flow, and whether it is accepted at the emissions test depends on the car and local rules; the decat version is intended for track use.
With seven passengers on board, won’t the exhaust be too present?
Not with the valves closed: the X7 keeps the calm of a lounge, even in the third row; the V8 only speaks up when you open the valves.
What is the chassis code of the X7 M50i?
G07: it has been the X7’s code since its launch in 2019, and the 2019 to 2022 M50i is part of it. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version before manufacturing.
BMW X7 M50i G07 4.4TT: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
BMW X7 M50i G07 4.4TT: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.
