Configuration
Ferrari SF90 Stradale / Spider V8 4.0 hybrid Valved Exhaust System (2020-2024)
Valves
Operated by remote control, factory-paired.
Estimated at 0.50 m from the outlet, 45°, 2,000 rpm with a warm engine. Allow ± 2 dB depending on the engine and measuring point. A 3 dB difference is audible in a direct comparison; 10 dB sounds roughly twice as loud.
Configuration guide
Sound intensity with the valves open, on a scale of 0 to 10.
| Configuration | Intensity |

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale / Spider exhaust in detail.
Ferrari’s first series-production plug-in hybrid, the SF90 Stradale combines a flat-plane-crank 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors, two on the front axle and one between engine and gearbox: 1,000 hp in total. Our page covers model years 2020 to 2024. The SF90 Spider takes the same system as the Stradale.
Between the turbos, which round off the tone, and a factory exhaust designed to accompany the electric phases, the V8 often goes unnoticed. With the valves open, the Rog cat-back restores its tension: clearer climbs through the revs, sharper downshifts as soon as the combustion engine takes over. With the valves closed, and of course in electric mode, the SF90 crosses a city without the slightest mechanical noise.
Despite the complexity of the hybrid drivetrain, installation remains mechanical and simple: clamps, gaskets, no welding, about two hours on a lift. The original valves are retained if the car has them; failing that, the Rog remote operates them, whatever the mode.
As an option, the page offers the downpipe, the catalysed pipe at the turbo outlet, under the name “Manifold”. On such a complex drivetrain, it only makes sense with an ECU remap; without a map, it changes the sound, not the power. Ordered with 200 cells, it maintains the SF90’s emissions control. On a 1,000 hp car where every kilo is hunted down, titanium takes around 40% of the weight out of 304 stainless steel for the same design; it can be ordered in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Ferrari SF90 Stradale / Spider 4.0 V8 exhaust.
Does the system fit the SF90 Spider?
Yes. The SF90 Stradale and the SF90 Spider take the same Rog system: same chassis, same 4.0-litre hybrid V8, same clamp-and-gasket fitting. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Can an SF90 fitted with the downpipe go beyond its 1,000 hp?
The cat-back alone does without one. With the downpipe, the map becomes the lever: the published Stage 2 figure for the SF90 reaches 1,120 hp combined, against 1,000 hp as standard. Torque is not stated on our page.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale V8 4.0 hybrid with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
Present it with the valves closed: its sound then returns close to factory. Keep the factory front section or take the 200-cell downpipe, and the SF90’s emissions control remains as original. With the 100-cell, acceptance will depend on the vehicle and your country’s rules; without a catalytic converter, the SF90 is reserved for track use.
Does the SF90’s electric mode stay silent with the system?
Yes: when the V8 is off, no gases pass through the system, which stays silent. The valves only act when the combustion engine is running, and you then choose between discretion and full voice.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale / Spider 4.0 V8: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.

Ferrari SF90 Stradale / Spider V8 hybrid: giving the V8 its voice back, the exhaust system guide
The SF90 Stradale is Ferrari's first series-production plug-in hybrid: a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 assisted by three electric motors, for 1,000 hp in total and four-wheel drive. This sophistication comes at an acoustic price: between the turbos, the electric motors and...
