The Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 Touring 992.1 exhaust in detail.
Gruff and mechanical at low revs, then increasingly sharp up to a metallic howl near the red line: the GT3’s flat-six has a racing voice. Its factory system lets part of it through but rounds off its edges, and weighs 17.05 kg according to our page. With the valves open, the Rog cat-back makes every climb through the revs frank and crisp; with them closed, the GT3 turns more discreet for transit runs and early morning departures.
The page is for the 992.1-type 911 GT3, produced from 2021 to 2024: a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six, derived from the engines raced in competition, with 510 hp and 470 Nm. The GT3 RS, the Carrera and the Turbo S of the same generation each have their own page; your VIN confirms compatibility before manufacturing.
Positioned behind the engine, where every kilo counts for the 911’s balance, the Rog system fits without welding, with clamps and gaskets, in about two hours. The factory valve control is retained if it exists; otherwise, the Rog remote decides, whatever the mode.
The manifolds, with integrated catalytic converter, appear on the GT3 page under the “Manifold” option. On this naturally aspirated 4.0-litre, their contribution is felt at the top of the rev counter and remains modest, 3 to 8%, with an ECU remap; the page lists 561 hp and 525 Nm in Stage 2, and the 200-cell version cleans emissions like the factory part. As for materials, 304 stainless steel or titanium, around 40% lighter for the same design, in brushed, gold or purple.

Questions about the Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 Touring 4.0 type 992.1 exhaust.
My GT3 992.1 is a Touring: can I order this system?
Yes. The GT3 Touring is the same car without the fixed wing: same body, same 510 hp 4.0-litre engine, same Rog system. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Sport manifolds and a new map: what does a GT3,992.1 gain?
Our page quotes 561 hp and 525 Nm at Stage 2 for the GT3, around fifty horsepower more than the stock 510 hp. The gain remains measured on a naturally aspirated engine; the cat-back alone, for its part, requires no ECU remap.
The GT3,992.1 is driven on track and on the road: which configuration for the vehicle inspection?
The road configuration: valves closed and factory or 200-cell manifolds, which keep emissions control. If the GT3 is fitted with 100-cell manifolds, they will be accepted or not depending on the vehicle and your country’s rules. The decat version, reserved for track use, has no place on that day.
How long does it take to receive a GT3,992.1 system?
Manufacturing is done to order, for your car: 20 working days separate confirmation from delivery, with free, insured delivery, followed by about two hours of fitting.
Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 Touring 4.0 type 992.1: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
