The Porsche 911 Turbo S 997.2 exhaust in detail.
An everyday supercar, the 911 Turbo S 997.2 combines a 3.8-litre direct-injection flat-six, two variable-geometry turbos and four-wheel drive: 530 hp and 700 Nm, on the 2010 to 2012 model years. Only the Turbo S is documented in our records; for a regular Turbo, your VIN lets us check before manufacturing. The Carrera 997.2 has its own exhaust.
The thrust is massive, but it arrives in a silence that leaves you wanting more: two turbos in the gas path, then a factory exhaust designed for discretion. The Rog valved cat-back corrects this gap between what you feel and what you hear. Open, a deep rumble, turbo whoosh and metallic accents; closed, the Turbo S remains the hushed grand tourer ready for long journeys.
No front section is sold on this page: the Rog system is ordered on its own, in 304 stainless steel or titanium. Without an ECU remap, it brings sound and a little lightness; according to our page, a full tune targets 609 hp and 840 Nm in Stage 2.
Fitting is done with band clamps and gaskets, without welding, in about two hours. If your Turbo S has factory valves, their control is retained; otherwise, the Rog remote operates them. Titanium lightens the system by around 40% for the same design and comes in brushed, gold or purple; at the rear of the Turbo S, tips in chrome, gloss black or blued titanium complete the signature.

Questions about the Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.8 type 997.2 exhaust.
Can a non-S 997.2 Turbo take this exhaust?
Our data documents the Turbo S alone, from 2010 to 2012, and does not allow the system to be extended to the regular Turbo or the 2009 model year. Send us the VIN: we check before any manufacturing.
What would an ECU remap deliver on a modified Turbo S 997.2?
The system does not need one to work. A full tune targets 609 hp and 840 Nm in Stage 2 according to our page, against 530 hp and 700 Nm as standard; the Rog system contributes through the voice, not the horsepower.
Porsche 911 Turbo S 997.2 3.8 biturbo with a Rog exhaust: what should you know about vehicle inspection?
Close the valves before the test: it regains the hushed sound that is its own. As the page sells no front section, there is no 100-cell or decat version to deal with; for any question about your car’s emissions control, talk to us before ordering.
Why is no downpipe offered for the Turbo S 997.2?
Because we offer no front section for this model. Rather than sell you an uncertain part, the page is limited to the cat-back, which carries the valves and most of the change in sound.
Coupé or convertible: does the 911 Turbo S 3.8 997.2 take the same system?
Yes. On the 911 Turbo S 3.8 997.2, coupé and convertible share the flat-six and the same Rog system, fitted with clamps and gaskets. Your VIN is only used to confirm the version and model year before manufacturing.
Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.8 type 997.2: Does a valved exhaust system drone?
No. With the valves closed, the gases flow through the whole rear silencer and the cabin stays calm at a steady speed. Our Rog exhausts are designed to avoid drone. Learn more: Why our systems stay calm on the motorway.
Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.8 type 997.2: straight pipe or resonator?
On this model, two characters at the same price: the straight pipe for the raw sound of your engine, unfiltered, or the resonator for a rounder and slightly softer voice. Either way, the exhaust stays fully sporty. Learn more: Exhaust resonator: what does it do? Straight pipe or resonator, which sound to choose.

Porsche 911 Turbo S type 997.2: thrust you can finally hear, the exhaust system guide
The 911 Turbo S 997.2 is an everyday supercar: all-wheel drive, a 3.8-litre biturbo flat-six, 530 hp and 700 Nm, and disconcerting ease of use. Its engine is formidably efficient, but the factory exhaust is designed so that you can...
